Texas Poker v2.3 marks a major milestone for our browser-based poker platform. In this post, we’ll walk you through every major feature, show you the interface, and share our plans for the future.

🌐 Real-Time Multiplayer for 2–9 Players

Texas Poker supports 2 to 9 players at each table, all playing in real time through your browser. No downloads, no apps — just open play.texaspoker.win and join a game.

We’ve built the game on Cloudflare Workers and Durable Objects, which means our game servers run on Cloudflare’s global edge network. This gives players low-latency connections regardless of where they are in the world — whether you’re in New York, London, Tokyo, or São Paulo.

🏠 Room System

Creating a Room

Any player can create a room with custom settings:

Create room dialog Set your table size (2–9 players) and buy-in amount when creating a room.

Table size: Choose between 2 and 9 seats
Buy-in: Set the chip amount each player starts with
Auto-calculated blinds: Small blind (1% of buy-in) and big blind (2% of buy-in)

Room Management Rules

To keep the lobby clean and fair, each player can only create one room at a time:

You must close your existing room before creating a new one
If you leave a room idle, it will automatically close after 1 minute of being empty
This prevents room spamming and ensures the lobby only shows active games

🎯 Hero Layout

v2.3 introduces a completely redesigned player-centric hero layout:

Ready for play Your seat is always at the bottom center, giving you a consistent and natural perspective.

Your position is fixed at the bottom center of the table
Opponents are arranged in a clean arc above you
Cards, chips, and action buttons are positioned for optimal visibility
The layout adapts seamlessly to desktop, tablet, and mobile screens

Gameplay in progress During a hand, the action buttons slide up from the bottom — Fold, Check/Call, Raise, and All-In.

🃏 Fair & Transparent Gameplay

We believe trust is essential for any poker platform. That’s why:

Our game algorithm will be open source — anyone can inspect the code and verify fairness
Certified RNG — every card deal uses a cryptographically secure random number generator
Encrypted connections — all data is transmitted over TLS

At showdown, all remaining players reveal their hands. The best five-card hand wins the pot.

🔄 Hand Replay

One of the most powerful features in v2.3 is hand replay. You can now review your recent games to study and improve your strategy.

Replay List

Replay list Browse your last 20 game records. Each entry shows your hand, the result, and the pot size.

Step-by-Step Replay

Replay detail Watch each hand unfold action by action — from pre-flop to showdown. Use the playback controls to pause, rewind, or fast-forward.

The replay feature shows:

Every action (call, raise, check, fold) in chronological order
Running pot size after each action
Community cards as they’re dealt
Final showdown results with hand rankings

Hand History

Your hand history displays the last 20 hands with detailed stats — your cards, the board, the winner, and your net profit or loss.

After a great hand, you can share it directly from the game:

The share dialog lets you post your hand to X (Twitter), Facebook, WhatsApp, WeChat, or the in-app Community — or copy the shareable link.

Each shared hand generates a unique URL that anyone can open to view the replay, even without an account.

🔮 What’s Coming Next

We’re already working on the next set of improvements:

1. Improved PC Layout

We’ll be refining the desktop experience with better use of screen space, larger cards, and a more traditional poker client feel.

We’re expanding the sharing feature with preview cards for social media platforms, one-tap sharing to more networks, and the ability to add personal commentary to shared hands.

3. Achievements System

A new achievements feature is in development — earn badges for milestones like your first royal flush, winning streaks, tournament victories, and more. Show off your achievements on your player profile.
